Louisiana Automated Victim Notification System - LAVNS Resources

The Louisiana Automated Victim Notification System (LAVNS) offender search is an on-line resource that allows you to search for information regarding an offender's current custody and case status. It is provided by the Louisiana Commission on Law Enforcement and Administration of Criminal Justice. You may also register to be notified automatically when an offender is released, transferred, or escapes from a Parish facility or has a change in case status.

 
The Claiborne Parish Detention Center houses male, offenders 17 years of age or older for Claiborne and surrounding parishes, and the Louisiana Department of Corrections.

The open Dormitory Style facility is under the direction of Johnny Sumlin.

The Claiborne Parish Jail, housing pre-trial and sentenced, female inmates of age 17 and older is under the supervision of Warden Sophia Burns.

Located at the CPSO main office in Homer, Louisiana, the facility uses dormitories of 13 inmates each, for a capacity of 65 inmates.
